Well we have finally managed to get the site up and running again from the works IGS accounts...Well done Dickie

This means that I will be able to add lots of content and articles to the site again as I haven't been able to without the IGS access at work.

So come on you lot...send me those files, articles, photos and stories and lets get the site back up and running again properly

For security reasons, some areas of the site are restricted to RAFMSA members only. Specific details of events should be placed in here ie. Dates and locations of events. If you are still having problems accessing the members area or are unsure of whether you have these access rights try this out. On the left hand nav bar go to Forums - scroll down past 'Karting specific'. If after the 'Pro karts' entry the next block you see is 'Technical Support Forums' and not 'Members forum' then you don't yet have access rights. If you need this access either Private Message Martin or send me an email including your name and RAFMSA membership number.

Hi all,

Having just moved units I have realised that having a database of RAF Karters at what units may be quite useful.

This is not going to be a compulsory thing but just a way of finding out who is at what units and their contact details. Once it is complete I would make it available but only in the members area so access to it would be restricted to RAFMSA Members only.

If you wouldn't mind making you details available then please send your Name, Rank and contact details as well as unit details on to me by email or PM (do not put in the forums) and I will start to gather the info.

Look forward to hearing from you with this and any other ideas you may have.

Hi again to you all,

As you can probably see the site theme has changed a little and this is due to the fact that Dickie and I are trying to sort the IGS access problems that we are having at the moment. If this theme change works then we can hopefully find a work around and get the problem sorted. If you happen to log on and see this working on an IGS account before the 21st July please send an email to my home address or PM martin to let me know as I won't be back in work till then.

Hopefully if this gets sorted I will once again be able to add more content as I will be able to access during work time. Unfortunatly, due to me moving house my internet access has been down so I have been unable to do any work on the site.

Fingers crossed this works and then we can get the site running again with lots more content.

I have disabled the gallery to see if an active X control is the reason behind RAFK being removed from the RAF IGS allowed list.  If it is indeed the culprit then I will install an alternative gallery so that we can still have images but remain viewable on IGS. 

Hi once again to all. Well I have finally managed to get my account access sorted and so can now once again add content to the site (Don't ask whats happened!!!) Anyway, The Championship regs and the Llandow Entry Form are now available for download from the Downloads section of the site. You need to be an RAFMSA members to access these so if you are having trouble contact me either by email on WAD E3DSST-SM SNCO IC or marti_h[at]talktalk.net or give me a ring on 07943 875789 with your RAFMSA Account details and I will get your membership sorted. Another problem we have been having or at least I have is that I can no longer access the site from my IGS account at work. I have contacted the relevant people and they have said that they will be sorting that very soon. Once that is done I will let you all know. And finally, I am at last getting away from Odiham and winging my way off to Waddo which will hopefully allow me to spend more time doing updates for the site and to get around to seeing you all at a few more rounds of the Championships this year. To that end, what I need from you all is content. So send me those pictures, news articles, race reports and your sales and wants. So come on.....it's your site and I need your contributions to make it your source of information.

Hello once again to all you fellow Karters out there. Martin is finally back in the country again and hopefully we can start to get the website up and running properly again and add the content you require.

I am wait for details from Kev Meynell of all the championship rounds and will publish on the site as soon as I get it.

I must apologise for the lack of updates over the past year but as I said I have been away for far too long but now I am back we can hopefully get all the info back online. To that end I need your help too. Please send me any info you want to publish on the site or you can do it yourself by publishing a news item.

Pictures can also be added to the image gallery so dig through those snaps and get them published on the site.

I am also hoping to soon be posted to Waddington, so any of you Waddington Karters out there give me a shout and let me know if there is anything I can do to get involved there.

I have received a very good offer from the East of Scotland Kart Club (Crail) to hold a 4 hour endurance race - Dates available from Here. Before I start the admin process for organising a race, I would appreciate it if you would tell me if you would be willing to enter a team (or not) in this proposed race. Race entry fee would be £50.00. If any service personnel have any accommodation concerns, RAF Leuchers is roughly a 20-minute drive from the circuit.
